ABOUT CHANDLER

Chandler grew up in Atlanta, Georgia where she first began painting as a result of being inspired by her late grandmother and artist herself, Rose Anne Samuelson. She spent a few special summers painting in her grandmother’s studio with her and from that point on could not imagine life without art!

She continued her studies through summer programs at the Savannah College of Art and Design campus in Atlanta and through her time at the University of Alabama. She then transferred schools, and received a Bachelors degree in Advertising and Non profit Management from Appalachian State University. During her time at Appalachian, she found her voice in the arts and began making jewelry and painting regularly while also pursing avenues where she could use art to help women in recovery and rehabilitation from interpersonal violence.

She now lives in Boone, North Carolina with her husband Jonathan and daughters Hosanna and Hadley Rose. Oh and their goldendoodle dog Sadie. :)
